Red Velvet Cake with Faux Florals by Alyssa’s Kitchen
Simple yet sophisticated, this 8-inch red velvet cake from Alyssa’s Kitchen was created as a stunning centrepiece for a wedding at the beautiful Grow Wild Flower Farm. An 8inch 2 & 1/2 high, the cake featured layers of moist red velvet, offering a rich, velvety flavour that balanced indulgence with elegance.
Finished in smooth white buttercream with a vertical palette effect, the design showcased clean texture and a modern aesthetic. Faux white flowers were carefully arranged on top, providing a fresh and elegant look that was also practical for the warm day, ensuring the cake remained picture-perfect throughout the celebration.
The couple added their own personal touch with a custom wooden topper, making the cake uniquely theirs. Together, the refined finish, timeless faux blooms, and personalised topper created a design that was as meaningful as it was beautiful.
This cake was a perfect example of Alyssa’s Kitchen’s dedication to creating bespoke cakes that combine artistry, flavour, and practicality, tailored to both the style of the couple and the conditions of their special day.
Trust Alyssa’s Kitchen to craft a cake that is visually elegant, delicious in flavour, and thoughtfully designed to suit every celebration.
