Vanilla & Buttercream Heart Cake by Alyssa’s Kitchen


This two-tier cake was created to celebrate Alyssa & Ethon’s wedding at the beautiful Briars Conservatory. Featuring 8-inch and 10-inch tiers of vanilla cake, both 1½ height, it was finished with natural buttercream—semi-naked effect for both tiers. Delicate piped detailing framed both tiers, with the heartfelt message Just Married written in black chocolate across the top.

What made this cake truly special were the figurines placed at its base—Harvey and LeBron. Harvey, whom I was lucky enough to meet on delivery, and LeBron, Ethon’s beloved dog who had sadly passed, were both represented so they could share in this special day.

A thoughtful blend of classic design, personal touches, and meaningful details, this cake was a true reflection of love, memory, and celebration.
