Timeless White Floral Vanilla Cake by Alyssa’s Kitchen

Classic and refined, this two-tier vanilla cake from Alyssa’s Kitchen was created to celebrate Jay & Kyle’s wedding in May 2025. Measuring 8 and 10 inches, both tiers featured soft, moist vanilla cake filled with delicate layers of flavour, offering a timeless choice that guests adored.

Covered in smooth OTT buttercream fondant, the cake was finished with a subtle row of piped dots at the base of each tier, adding a touch of texture and charm. Adorned with elegant white blooms and fresh greenery, the floral placement created a clean and graceful design that was both understated and striking.

This cake held special meaning, as I first met Jay & Kyle at the Robertson Wedding Expo, where they decided to book their cake for their big day. It was such a joy to bring their vision to life and craft a centrepiece that reflected both simplicity and elegance.

From the smooth buttercream finish to the refined floral styling, this cake embodied the perfect blend of classic beauty and fresh modern detail. It was a true reflection of Alyssa’s Kitchen’s passion for creating bespoke cakes that combine artistry, flavour, and personal touches.

After 25 years in corporate and a significant life experience, I decided I’d follow my passion – making beautiful cakes and desserts and I'm loving it!

I’ve always loved entertaining and making things that not only taste delicious but also look beautiful. Being always the one asked to ‘bring dessert’ – I started experimenting and developed a passion for baking. I delight in seeing and hearing people are happy, enjoying eating all the things I created. The best compliment is being referred to as a ‘cake magician’! Whilst I had been cooking for many years inspired by my grandmother, I developed my Patisserie skills further by completing a certification with Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School, so I could deliver the best for my customers.
