Created for Samantha & Josh’s wedding at the Briars, this timeless three-tier design showcased a beautiful trio of flavours: 10-inch lemon, 8-inch chocolate, and 6-inch vanilla. Each tier was finished in smooth white buttercream with a soft palette-textured effect, giving the cake a subtle sense of depth and sophistication.
Originally envisioned with flowers, the bride chose instead to let simplicity shine—allowing the elegant modern topper, provided by the couple, to take centre stage. The result was a cake that balanced clean design with classic flavours, a true reflection of understated beauty.
At Alyssa’s Kitchen, every cake is designed to harmonise flavour and artistry, ensuring each centrepiece feels as personal as the celebration it honours.
After 25 years in corporate and a significant life experience, I decided I’d follow my passion – making beautiful cakes and desserts and I'm loving it!
I’ve always loved entertaining and making things that not only taste delicious but also look beautiful. Being always the one asked to ‘bring dessert’ – I started experimenting and developed a passion for baking. I delight in seeing and hearing people are happy, enjoying eating all the things I created. The best compliment is being referred to as a ‘cake magician’! Whilst I had been cooking for many years inspired by my grandmother, I developed my Patisserie skills further by completing a certification with Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School, so I could deliver the best for my customers.
