Vanilla Palette Effect Cake by Alyssa’s Kitchen


Clean and timeless, this two-tier cake from Alyssa’s Kitchen was created for a wedding at the charming Book Barn, Bendooley Estate. Featuring 6-inch and 8-inch tiers of classic vanilla cake, both 1&1/4 high, covered with white buttercream and palette effect finish.

The design embraced a simple palette effect in buttercream, offering a modern, textured finish without additional florals or decoration. Its understated beauty allowed the natural craftsmanship and flavour to take centre stage, creating a piece that was as elegant as it was delicious.

Sometimes, less truly is more—this cake proved that simplicity and flavour can make the perfect pairing for a memorable celebration.
