Tell me the date in which you require your custom cake to be ready. (For themed cakes minimum of 7 days lead time is required, but the more time the better). I cannot guarantee your date, but I will do my best, it all depends on other orders and the complexity of yours.

The only wedding cake that has ever been eaten in full!
The cake Alyssa made us was DELICIOUS. All our guests raved about it and the bit we took home and shared with some extended friends was devoured immediately and everyone was full of compliments asking where they could get it. Even a few days later, when heated up in microwave, it tasted exactly like sticky date pudding. THANK YOU!

Alyssa was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! She was so easy-going, professional and very patient with us while we went back and forth (and back again!) on details like size and design. The tasting samples were all incredible which made picking our flavour the hardest part!
We ended up going with a huge chocolate mud cake with white buttercream, covered in loads of fresh raspberries and it was DELICIOUS! Truly one of the highlights of the day! Alyssa also went above and beyond by providing separate cupcakes for our guests with dietary requirements, which we really appreciated, and they went down an absolute treat!!! She also took care of delivering the cake to the venue, which made everything even more seamless for us.
Not only did the cake look beautiful, but it tasted even better. We’re very happy there was a little left over that we’ve stashed in the freezer to keep enjoying! We couldn’t recommend Alyssa more highly. Thank you so much for such a special (and delicious!) part of our day!

Alyssa did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Alyssa went above and beyond to put together some DELICIOUS samples for us to try ahead of placing our order. My husband and I had a lovely time trying all of the delicious flavours. Alyssa is so warm, welcoming and immediately made us feel confident in choosing her to make our wedding cake. Since our wedding day, several of our guests have told us how delicious the cake was and that they had several pieces on the day! Alyssa also went out of her way to write us a beautiful card to add to our wishing well as we didn't see her on the big day - what a lovely personal touch! We've popped some of our cake in the freezer for us to enjoy on our 1st wedding anniversary...if it lasts that long! Just wanted to say a big thank you to Alyssa for making us a beautiful 3 tier red velvet wedding cake. It tasted incredible with not a single slice left behind at the end of the evening. The flowers were immaculately decorating the cake and matching our colour scheme. She even delivered to the venue. Cannot recommend here highly enough for your wedding cake especially if in the southern Highlands. Look forward to hopefully another one in future at an anniversary!

I ordered a cake from Alyssa’s Kitchen in the Southern Highlands for my wife’s 31st birthday, and it turned out absolutely perfect. I only gave Alyssa a colour scheme, flavour and text that I wanted, leaving the rest to her creativity, and she nailed it!
The cake looked amazing, but even more importantly, it tasted incredible. The texture was spot on, and the flavour was perfectly balanced. I usually find fondant too thick and overpowering, but this one was light and complemented the cake beautifully.
Everyone loved it! If you’re looking for a cake in the Southern Highlands, I highly recommend Alyssa’s Kitchen. Alyssa is truly a cake magician.

Alyssa made a stunning two layer orange cake with vanilla icing for my mum’s 80th birthday. We had fresh flowers decorating the top and down the second layer. It was a gorgeous vibrant cake and the colours were perfect! The cake was delicious and we didn’t even get a good photo before the bottom half had gone (oops). Alyssa thanks for helping to make my mum’s special day just perfect!

Alyssa made our daughters 3rd birthday party so special with her beautiful custom cake. We contacted Alyssa last minute and she was so accomodating and able to turn the cake around quite quickly, even adding a few special details to the cake on the house. She was also able to meet all of our dietary requirements and despite the cake being dairy and gluten free, it was so moist and absolutely delicious! Thank you Alyssa :) Would highly recommend!

Alyssa was amazing and easy to talk to during our inquiries to have a custom made Persian Love cake (pictured in front) for our wedding, we felt at ease having such an expert by our side. The end result looked fantastic and our guests were definitely upset to hear there would be no seconds! I offer a wide range of flavours, including popular options like vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, and muds including white chocolate mud, chocolate mud and caramel mud. I’m happy to discuss additional flavour ideas during our consultation, but if it's a new flavour I do require as much notice as possible, months if during peak wedding season.
Yes! I can incorporate edible images, such as your initials, wedding logo, or meaningful symbols, to make your cake truly one-of-a-kind. If it is your initials or cake topper in another substrate other than fondant, I do recommend you purchase that directly and then post it to me so I can decorate the cake to completion.
Pricing depends on the size, design complexity, flavour and any special requests. I’ll provide a detailed quote after discussing your specific needs.
Yes! Whether you’re dreaming of an Autumn-themed cake, a Two Hearts design, or something completely unique, I’ll bring your vision to life.
Yes, I can arrange a cake tasting so you can sample flavours and decide what suits your big day best. I provide a tasting box of my 6 most popular flavours but if you want something different, I do recommend a small cake. Alternatively I do offer for you and your partner to come to my house, have a beverage of your choice and have a piece of cake, or you can pick up your cake and take it home to share with family and friends.
I understand plans can change. I’ll do my best to accommodate adjustments, provided there’s enough notice before your wedding date. If you change your mind within 2 weeks of your wedding date there is a fee, please refer to my terms and conditions.
My smallest is a 4inch (round only) but usually it is a 6 inch (15cm) and the largest I make is a 12inch (30cm) I also do double height of any size and can do both square and round.
It does depend on the size of the slice by typically 6inch (15cm) 6 to 8 people, 8inch (20cm) 10 – 12 people, 10inch (25cm) 18-20 people, 12 inch (30cm) 25-35 people.
Absolutely, if it is not something I have done before I may need a bit more notice in order to do research. 95% of my cake toppers I had never done before, and always keen to learn to do different things.
Buttercream is butter, icing sugar milk and flavouring, which is usually vanilla, but I will do chocolate, coffee and lime, which goes on my lemon lime cake. Fondant is rollable icing. Both Buttercream (other than chocolate and coffee) can be coloured any colour, so too can fondant.
